2 Hurt in Los Angeles Crash at Foothill Boulevard and Sherman Grove Avenue

Los Angeles, California (February 2, 2023) – Two people sustained major injuries in a crash near Sunland on Thursday morning, according to the authorities.

The crash happened at around 10:30 a.m. on Foothill Boulevard and Sherman Grove Avenue.

Two cars were involved in the collision near Sunland Recreation Center.

Firefighters with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and extricated a 45-year-old man from one of the cars, which was engulfed in flames.

The man was hospitalized with critical injuries.

Another patient in the second car, a 75-year-old woman, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
