2 Parties Trapped in Hollister Car Accident on State Route 156 at State Route 25
Hollister, California (May 5, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a serious injury accident that left two people trapped inside their car Friday morning in Hollister.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at about 5:26 a.m. on eastbound Highway 156 at Highway 25.
A Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck collided with a red sedan under unclear circumstances.
The pickup was left blocking traffic lanes, and the sedan went about 70 feet off the roadway.
Two people got tapped inside the sedan and required extrication.
Emergency personnel responded to help the victims.
CHP said the collision resulted in serious injuries but did not detail the victims.
The sedan was towed away with all-over crash damage.
CHP officers are investigating the collision.
