2 People Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on North Balboa Boulevard near Victory Boulevard in Lake Balboa

Lake Balboa, California (February 8, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a Lake Balboa crash that killed two people and injured another seriously on Wednesday morning.

The deadly two-vehicle accident happened in the 6400 block of North Balboa Boulevard near Victory Boulevard.

According to the officials, a white Honda Accord collided with a Corvette on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

As a result of the crash impact, the Corvette was reportedly nearly pushed into a store inside a strip mall. The Honda was left unrecognizable.

First responders arrived at the scene and extricated two people from their vehicles.

Sadly, the Honda’s driver, a woman in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Corvette driver died at a hospital.

One other person was critically injured in the accident.

More details regarding the mishap were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
