2 Killed in Car Accident at Avenal Cutoff Road and Laurel Avenue in Hanford

Kings County, California (April 30, 2023) – Two people were killed in a car crash that happened near Hanford in Kings County on Sunday afternoon.

According to the California highway patrol, the accident happened in the area of Avenal Cutoff Road and Laurel Avenue at around 3:06 p.m.

Two vehicles reportedly collided head-on in unclear circumstances.

CHP says two people were killed in the crash.

The names of the victims were not immediately disclosed.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
