2 Killed, 1 Injured in Car Accident near Manning Avenue and Highway 33 in Fresno

Fresno, California (May 18, 2023) – Two people were killed in a car crash that left a third person injured early Thursday morning in Fresno.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 5 a.m. near Manning Avenue and Highway 33.

A Toyota traveling on Manning Avenue reportedly collided with a semi-truck in unclear circumstances.

The driver of the Toyota and a passenger were pronounced dead at the accident scene.

A second passenger was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
