2 Injured in Car Accident on 19 Freeway near Kilometer 95 in Tucson

Tucson, Arizona (April 28, 2023) – Two people were injured in a car crash on Thursday evening in Tucson.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the accident happened on southbound Interstate 19 Freeway near kilometer 95 at around 4:20 p.m.
A Chevrolet SUV was traveling southbound when it crossed the median for unknown reasons and collided head-on with a Jeep.
The 25-year-old man driving the SUV was ejected from the vehicle and suffered major injuries.
Officials say the 35-year-old woman driving the Jeep was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
