Two Hurt in Covina Train Accident at North Barranca Avenue and East Front Street

Covina, California (February 11, 2023) – Two people were hurt in a collision between a vehicle and a train in Covina on Friday morning, according to a report by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The wreck took place in the area of North Barranca Avenue and East Front Street at around 10:25 a.m. February 10.

Authorities said a car went under the lowered railroad arms and was hit by a Metrolink Train Number 308 that had left the Union Station.

One person in the car and one on the train were injured.

The two patients were taken to a hospital for treatment.

The tracks were closed temporarily as authorities investigated the incident.

An investigation into the wreck is ongoing.
