2 Hospitalized After Manteca Car Accident on Highway 99 near Highway 120

Manteca, California (March 10, 2023) – Two people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that took place Thursday evening in Manteca, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident transpired at about 7:18 p.m. on northbound Highway 99, just north of Highway 120.

The crash involved a Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck with a male driver and a Jeep with a female driver.

The pickup truck was left facing the wrong way in the No. 1 lane, and the Jeep went about 200 feet off the roadway.

Manteca firefighters responded to the scene and transported two parties to Kaiser Permanente Manteca Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the accident.
