The minivan then collided head-on with an oncoming Lexus sedan driven by a 22-year-old man

San Marcos, CA.- Two people were injured in a crash involving a suspected DUI driver in San Marcos on Wednesday afternoon, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
The wreck happened on Cox Road and Mulberry Drive at about 3:23 p.m. August 20.
According to the report, a 42-year-old man was driving a Nissan minivan when he tried to overtake another vehicle but ended up sideswiping it.
The minivan then collided head-on with an oncoming Lexus sedan driven by a 22-year-old man.
The driver of the sedan was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The minivan driver had minor injuries and was also transported to the hospital.
Police later arrested the minivan driver on suspicion of DUI and reckless driving.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
