2 Hurt in Head-On Crash on Cajalco Road near La Sierra Avenue

Perris, California (February 6, 2023) – Two people were hurt in a head-on collision that took place Sunday afternoon near Lake Mathews in Perris, the California Highway Patrol said.

The incident was reported at around 3 p.m. on Cajalco Road, about 2 miles west of La Sierra Avenue.

A black Hyundai Kona and a white Dodge Ram collided head-on for unknown reasons, blocking the roadway.

Two people suffered minor injuries in the collision. It was not clear if the patients were hospitalized.

Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
