2 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on Interstate 19 in Green Valley

Green Valley, Arizona (April 19, 2023) – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Tuesday night in Green Valley.

According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 9:15 p.m. on Interstate 19 near kilometer 42.

The Santa Cruz County Sherriff’s deputies were pursuing a suspect who was driving a car northbound in the southbound lanes before crashing into two southbound cars.

The suspect and one other person were injured in the accident and were taken to a hospital in Tucson for treatment.
