San Diego, California (March 15, 2023) – Two people were injured in a car accident on Wednesday morning in Carmel Valley.

The accident happened at around 8 a.m. at Del Mar Heights Road and Carmel Canyon Road, according to the San Diego Fire Department.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person was trapped in the wreckage and has to be extricated by the authorities.

Two people were injured in the accident and were transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital and Jacobs Medical Center.
