2 Hurt in Thursday Morning Mountain View Car Accident on Highway 101 near Ellis Street On-Ramp

Mountain View, California (March 3, 2023) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened Thursday morning in Mountain View, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck was reported at about 7:56 a.m. on southbound Highway 101, just north of the Ellis Street on-ramp.

A gray Porsche sedan collided with a silver Toyota Tacoma for unknown reasons.

Two parties complained of pain to the chest. Paramedics offered medical aid to the victims, but it was unclear if anyone was hospitalized.

The Porsche was towed away with major rear-end damage, and the Tacoma with major front-end damage.

Police are investigating the cause of the collision.
