2 Hurt in Sutter Car Crash on Highway 20 near Wyncoop Road

Sutter, California (February 16, 2023) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that transpired Wednesday afternoon in Sutter, the California Highway Patrol said.

The wreck occurred at about 1:17 p.m. on westbound Highway 20 near Wyncoop Road.

Two vehicles collided, possibly head-on, blocking the roadway.

Two people sustained minor injuries in the accident. Firefighters responded to the scene to help the victims. It was unclear if they were hospitalized.

The vehicles sustained extensive crash damage.

Westbound traffic remained blocked as authorities investigated.
