Two Hurt in Las Cruces Crash on Highway 1 

Las Cruces, California (April 13, 2023) – Two people were injured in a multi vehicle collision on Thursday morning near Las Cruces, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident happened on Highway 1, nearly a mile west of the Highway 101 interchange at around 5:40 a.m.

Authorities said three vehicles were involved in the collision and at least two of them collided head-on. 

Two people were hurt in the accident. One of them was flown to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with critical injuries.

Highway 1 was shut down in both directions as crews worked at the scene.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
