Two Hurt in Murrieta Crash on Clinton Keith Road 

Murrieta, California (February 23, 2023) – Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Thursday morning in Murrieta, the California Highway Patrol said.

The collision happened on Clinton Keith Road just east of Avenida La Cresta just before 11:58 a.m. 

CHP said a vehicle towing a trailer and another vehicle were stopped on the roadway when they were struck from behind by a third vehicle.

There were two people standing outside the stopped vehicles.

The two were hospitalized with injuries of an unknown severity.

The roadway was shut down as crews worked to clear the scene.

The CHP is working to determine the cause of the crash.
