Two Hurt in Moreno Valley Crash on Kitching Street

Moreno Valley, California (April 29, 2023) – Two people were injured when a vehicle slammed into a home in Moreno Valley early Friday morning, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The wreck happened at around 1 a.m. April 28, on Windjammer Drive and Kitching Street.

Authorities said a driver was traveling south on Kitching Street when he lost control, drifted across the northbound lanes, and slammed into a single-story residence.

The driver of the vehicle and a person inside the house were transported to Riverside University Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident, the authorities said.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
