A box truck slammed into a commercial building in the area and two people were trapped in the wreckage

Los Angeles, CA.- Two people were injured when a box truck crashed into a building in the Central-Alameda area on Wednesday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened shortly before 4:08 a.m. at 1774 E. 21st Street west of South Alameda Street.
A box truck slammed into a commercial building in the area and two people were trapped in the wreckage.
Firefighters responded to the scene and helped free the trapped parties.
The two were transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
No further details were immediately released.
