Carmel Valley, CA. – Two people were hospitalized after a car accident that happened Tuesday afternoon in Carmel Valley, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 2:05 p.m. on Carmel Valley Road, also known as County Road G16, near Rancho Road.
A blue BMW and a black Subaru were involved in the crash.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and evaluated five people for injuries. Two of the victims were transported to Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula with minor injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
