2 Hospitalized After Colton Car Accident on 215 Freeway near Iowa Avenue

Colton, California (October 28, 2022) – Two persons were hospitalized following a two-vehicle accident on Thursday afternoon in Colton, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The crash occurred at about 3:48 p.m. on October 27, on 215 Freeway near Iowa Avenue and La Cadena Drive.

Police said four vehicles collided for reasons yet to be determined. 

Emergency crews and medics responded to the scene to aid two people hurt in the collision. The patients were transported to the hospital for further treatment. 

Tow trucks were requested to remove the cars from the accident scene.

Further details regarding this incident were not released.

The incident remains under investigation.
