Girl Injured in Boyes Hot Springs Accident on Boyes Boulevard and Riverside Drive
Boyes Hot Springs, California (February 17, 2023) – A girl riding a bicycle was struck and injured by a vehicle in Boyes Hot Springs on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place in the area of Boyes Boulevard and Riverside Drive at around 3:55 p.m. February 16.
CHP said a 54-year-old Petaluma man was driving a Jeep westbound on Boyes Boulevard when he stopped at the intersection then proceeded to cross Riverside Drive and collided with a northbound bicyclist.
The impact caused the rider to fall with her bike.
Emergency crews treated the 12-year-old Sonoma girl for minor injuries at the scene.
No further details were available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
