Bicyclist Hurt in Elk Grove Accident on Laguna Boulevard 

Elk Grove California (May 20, 2023) – A juvenile bicyclist was injured in a collision on Tuesday afternoon in Elk Grove, according to the authorities.

The incident happened at around 1:35 p.m. May 16, on Laguna Boulevard and Bruceville Road.

Authorities said a 12-year-old was riding a bicycle eastbound along Laguna Boulevard when he failed to stop for a red light at the intersection and was hit by a vehicle traveling north on Bruceville Road.

The juvenile was transported to a hospital with major injuries.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators

The incident is under investigation.
