1 Injured in Walnut Creek Accident on Highway 24 and 680 Freeway

Walnut Creek, California (February 20, 2023) – One individual suffered minor injuries after a multi-vehicle accident on Sunday morning in Walnut Creek, according to a police report.

The collision occurred on the eastbound Highway 24 and the 680 Freeway connector at about 11:23 a.m. on February 19.

Per the report, three vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles overturned, while another sustained significant front-end damage.

Firefighters and medical personnel assisted at least one person hurt in the accident. Police did not provide the total number of victims.

A SigAlert was issued, closing all lanes following the accident.
