1 Hurt in Lafayette Car Accident on Highway 24 near Acalanes Road

Lafayette, California (February 27, 2023) – One person was hurt following a three-vehicle accident on Sunday afternoon in Lafayette, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The accident occurred at around 2:21 p.m. on February 26 on westbound Highway 24, just east of Acalanes Road.

Per the dispatch, three vehicles collided for unknown reasons, including a Volkswagen Jetta and a Ford F-150.

Emergency crews and medical personnel responded to the scene to aid at least one person hurt in the collision. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.

Authorities blocked lanes 3 and 4 following the collision. The roadway was re-opened as of 3:25 p.m.
