1 Injured in Vallejo Car Accident on 80 Freeway and Redwood Street 

Vallejo, California (March 7, 2023) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, one person was injured following a two-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon in Vallejo.

The accident happened around 3:21 p.m. on March 6 on the westbound 80 Freeway, just east of Redwood Street.

Per the dispatch, two vehicles, including a Nissan Versa, collided for reasons still under investigation. 

Fire officials and medics rushed to the scene to aid at least one person hurt due to the collision. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.

The vehicles were blocking the slow lane and lane 2 following the accident.

The Nissan sustained significant front-end damage due to the crash and was towed from the accident location.

Further details concerning this collision were not provided.
