1 Hurt in Fremont Car Accident on I-880 near Auto Mall Parkway

Fremont, California (March 15, 2023) – One person suffered minor injuries following a three-vehicle collision on Monday evening in Fremont, according to a police report.

The collision occurred on the northbound 880 Freeway, just south of the Auto Mall off-ramp, at about 6:21 p.m. on March 14.

Police confirmed three vehicles collided under unclear circumstances, including a white Toyota Corolla and a Nissan. The Toyota sustained front-end damage, while the Nissan had rear-end damage following the collision.

Fire officials and medics rushed to the scene to aid at least one person hurt in the collision. Police did not provide the total number of patients injured in the crash.

The vehicles were blocking lanes 1 and 2 following the crash. The cars were towed away, and all roads were cleared as of 7:09 p.m.
