Upper Lake, California (February 2, 2023) – A male party was severely injured following a box truck accident on Thursday afternoon in Upper Lake, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

The accident happened at around 1:17 p.m. on Highway 20 and Running Creek Casino.

Per the report, a box truck and a Chevy Astro crashed for unknown reasons.

Responding firefighters extricated one male party pinned in the Astro. The party suffered severe injuries due to the collision.

PGandE authorities were requested to fix some power poles leaning against the lines following the accident.
