1 Seriously Injured in Car Accident on North Magnolia Ave near Prospect Ave in Santee

San Diego, California (February 8, 2023) – One person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened in Santee on Wednesday morning.

The crash was reported at around 6:05 a.m. on North Magnolia Avenue near Prospect Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol incident logs.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The firefighters who responded to the incident had to extricate one person who was trapped in a car with extensive front-end damage.

The patient is reported to have suffered major injuries in the accident and was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
