1 Seriously Injured in Woodland Car Crash on Highway 99W near Road 95

Yolo County, California (March 6, 2023) – Authorities are investigating a major injury car crash that happened in Woodland on Monday morning.

The collision was reported around 7:31 a.m. on County Road 99W near Road 95, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. Although the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established, the impact of the crash sent one of the cars off the roadway and into a ditch. One of the cars caught fire after the collision.

One person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
