1 Severely Hurt in El Dorado County Crash on Highway 193 and Brush Rocks Lane

EL Dorado County, California (March 6, 2023) – One person was severely hurt following a two-vehicle accident that severely injured one person on Sunday afternoon in El Dorado County.

According to a California Highway Patrol report, the accident happened around 2:12 p.m. on March 5 on westbound Highway 193 and Brush Rocks Lane.

Per the dispatch, a green Toyota Tundra and a tan Honda SUV crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Firefighters and medics rushed to the scene to extricate one person pinned inside one of the vehicles. The patient suffered severe injuries due to the collision.

The cars were blocking both eastbound and westbound lanes following the accident.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash scene.
