Bakersfield, CA. – One person died, and two others were hospitalized after a fiery single-car collision that happened Sunday evening in Bakersfield.

A car reportedly crashed off the highway and ignited a brush fire.
Firefighters responded and pronounced one person dead at the scene.
Two others who were ejected from the car suffered minor to moderate injuries. They were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The firefighters extinguished the brush fire.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
