Fontana, CA. – One person was injured after a car crashed into a semi-truck trailer Thursday afternoon at an intersection in Fontana, the California Highway Patrol reported.

A white Chevrolet Malibu reportedly crashed into the rear of a parked semi-truck trailer under unclear circumstances.
Airbags were deployed in the crash. Good Samaritans assisted the driver in exiting the vehicle.
The driver sustained a head injury and complained of pain to the wrist. Paramedics responded to the scene and offered medical aid to the patient.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
