1 Killed in Car Crash on 10 Freeway near Railroad Avenue in Whitewater
Riverside County, California (March 16, 2023) – At least one person was killed in a car crash on Thursday morning in Whitewater.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 10 Freeway near Railroad Avenue at around 8:46 a.m.
A van and car reportedly collided in the slow lane. However, the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
Riverside County Fire Department crews arrived at the scene and extricated one person who was trapped inside the smaller car.
The victim, whose identity was not immediately disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The van driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene and released.
