1 Killed in Car Accident on Highway 26 near Alpine Road in Stockton

Stockton, California (May 10, 2023) – At least one person died in a car crash that happened in Stockton on Wednesday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 26 near Alpine Road at around 10:50 a.m.

Two vehicles were involved in the morning crash. One of the cars reportedly caught fire after the collision.

CHP says at least one person was killed in the accident.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
