Scooter Rider Killed in Fresno Crash on Highway 99 near Fresno Street

Fresno, California (April 11, 2023) – A scooter rider was killed in a traffic collision early Wednesday morning in southwest Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision happened just before 1 a.m. on Highway 99 near Fresno Street.

A man was reportedly riding a scooter in the slow lane or near the right shoulder when at least three vehicles hit him.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
