1 Killed in Car Accident on Highway 118 near Tampa Avenue in Porter Ranch
Los Angeles, California (March 5, 2023) – At least one person died in a traffic collision on Sunday morning in Porter Ranch
The fatal crash occurred on westbound Highway 118 near Tampa Avenue at around 4:25 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A sedan is reported to have collided head-on with a semi-truck on the highway in unclear circumstances. The impact of the collision sent one of the vehicles off the roadway and down an embankment.
CHP says at least one person was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
