1 Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on 5 Freeway near Aliso Creek Area in Oceanside
Oceanside, California (April 11, 2023) – One person was killed in a car crash on Tuesday morning near Camp Pendleton in Oceanside.
At around 11:56 a.m. the California Highway Patrol received reports of a traffic collision on the southbound 5 Freeway near Aliso Creek Rest Area.
A big rig and an SUV were involved in the morning crash. The impact of the collision caused the SUV to overturn.
One person was killed in the accident, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The name of the deceased person was not disclosed.
