1 Killed in San Jose Crash on Highway 101 near Story Road
San Jose, California (February 1, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal multi-vehicle collision that happened early Wednesday morning in San Jose.
Three vehicles collided at around 5:55 a.m. on northbound Highway 101, just north of Story Road, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A Honda Civic, a Toyota Avalon, and a Toyota Yaris were involved in the accident. One of the cars reportedly overturned onto its side.
At least one person was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
All lanes were reopened at 7:23 a.m.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
