1 Dies in Davis Motorcycle Crash on 80 Freeway at Mace Boulevard Off-Ramp

Davis, California (February 19, 2023) – One person died in a motorcycle accident that happened Saturday evening in Davis, the California Highway Patrol said.

The accident was reported at about 6:42 p.m. on the westbound 80 Freeway at the Mace Boulevard off-ramp.

A motorcycle collided with another vehicle, possibly a van, under unclear circumstances. The motorcycle was left blocking one traffic lane.

Police and firefighters responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the crash.

CHP said one person was killed in the collision.

The No. 1 lane remained closed as police investigated.
