Motorcyclist Dies in Seal Beach Crash on 405 Freeway near Seal Beach Boulevard

Seal Beach, California (April 30, 2023) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Sunday afternoon on 405 Freeway in Seal Beach.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 3:48 p.m. on 405 Freeway near Seal Beach Boulevard.

Reportedly, a motorcyclist slammed into a Chrysler in unclear circumstances.

The CHP said the motorcycle rider died at the crash site.

The name of the deceased was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

No other injuries were reported in the wreck.

The carpool lane was temporarily closed due to the accident.
