1 Killed in Car Accident on Highway 4 near Morello Avenue in Martinez

Contra Costa, California (May 11, 2023) – One person was killed in a car crash near Martinez on Wednesday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 4 near Morello Avenue at around 10:44 p.m.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to veer off the roadway where they overturned.

Authorities say at least one person was killed in the crash.

The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
