Los Angeles, California (October 16, 2022) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision that happened in South Los Angeles on Sunday morning.

At around 4:22 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of a collision on Highway 110 near Florence Avenue.

A sedan reportedly collided with an SUV on the highway in unclear circumstances. The impact of the collision caused the SUV to overturn several times.

One person was killed in the collision.

The name of the victim was not immediately disclosed.

Another person was injured in the crash and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
