Long Beach, CA. – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident early Sunday morning in Long Beach.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened around 2:38 a.m. in the area of East Seventh Street and Channel Drive.
A 28-year-old Garden Grove man was driving a vehicle eastbound on Seventh Street when it struck a pedestrian.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel responded to the accident and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office did not disclose the name of the victim.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
