Motorcyclist Killed in Crash near 61st and Olive Avenues in Glendale

Glendale, Arizona (May 7, 2023) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday evening in Glendale.

According to Glendale police, the accident happened at around 6:30 p.m. near 61st and Olive Avenues.

A motorcyclist was traveling on Olive Avenue and was reportedly hit by a car making a left turn onto 61st Avenue.

Glendale Fire Department soon arrived at the scene and found the rider down with major injuries.

The motorcyclist was transported to the hospital where they died while receiving treatment.

The driver of the car was unhurt.

More details about the accident were not provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
