1 Killed, 1 Injured in Corcoran Car Crash at 10th Avenue and Niles Avenue
Kings County, California (January 24, 2023) – A driver was killed in a Tuesday evening car crash that left another injured in Corcoran, just south of Hanford.
At around 6:53 p.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of a traffic collision in the area of 10th and Niles avenues.
A Ford Escape and a Toyota Camry were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
The driver of the Camry was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Good Samaritans had to pull the Ford driver out of the burning vehicle through the sunroof. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
Both drivers were not immediately identified.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
