1 Killed in Car Accident on Highway 78 near Rock Springs Road in Escondido
San Diego, California (April 28, 2023) – One person was killed in a collision on Thursday evening in Escondido.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 78 near Rock Springs Road at around 5 p.m.
Two vehicles, possibly a white Chevrolet Silverado and a blue Pontiac, were involved in the crash. The sequence of events leading up to the accident was not immediately established.
CHP says one person was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
