One Killed in Griffith Park Accident on Interstate 5 

Griffith Park, California (May 7, 2023) – One person was killed in a traffic collision on Saturday night in Griffith Park, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident took place at around 8:50 p.m. May 6, on Interstate 5, just south of Colorado Boulevard.

CHP said two vehicles were involved in the collision on the northbound lanes of the interstate.

A man in his 40s died following the incident.

Three lanes were expected to be closed as authorities investigated the incident.

The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
