Man Dies in Fresno Car Accident on Ashlan and Marks Avenues

Fresno, California (April 29, 2023) – A man in his 30s was killed in a crash Friday morning in northwest Fresno, according to a police report.

As per the report, the tragic traffic accident happened at around 10:45 a.m. April 28 on Ashlan and Marks Avenues.

Officers said a driver was traveling on Marks Avenue when for unknown reasons, slammed into the back of a work truck parked on the side of the road.

The driver was transported to a hospital and later declared dead.

The identity of the deceased was not immediately released.

Marks Avenue was blocked as officers conducted their investigation.
