Pedestrian Dies in Palm Desert Accident on Alessandro Drive 

Palm Desert, California (May 6, 2023) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Palm Desert on Thursday evening, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

The crash happened at about 5:45 p.m. May 4, at Alessandro Drive and Portola Avenue.

A vehicle struck a pedestrian in the area under unclear circumstances.

The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.

The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

Authorities are investigating the incident.
