Riverside County, California (October 17, 2022) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened in Corona on Sunday night.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on northbound 15 Freeway near El Cerrito Road at around 8:39 p.m.

A motorcycle was traveling on the freeway when it reportedly rear-ended a silver sedan in unclear circumstances.

The officers responded to the incident and pronounced one person dead at the accident scene.

The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.

Additional information about the accident was not provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
